About addison

Addison Spears is an ICF-certified executive coach, licensed minister, and multidisciplinary designer.

For over a decade, he has worked at the intersection of leadership development, psychology, and formation — helping individuals and teams navigate the thresholds that shape identity and growth. His work integrates practical leadership mechanics with deeper character development, grounded in the belief that sustainable transformation happens when insight, responsibility, and practice align.

Lessons from My Fathers emerges from that same conviction: that who we become is, in part, shaped by the people who invest in us, and that clarity about our formation strengthens both leadership and legacy.

Addison lives in Upstate New York with his wife and two children, where life is marked by family rhythms, weight training, Adirondack hikes, creative projects, and long conversations over home-cooked meals.

No one becomes who they are alone.

At different moments in our lives, someone stepped in, whether it was a coach, a pastor, a grandfather, a boss, a teacher, a friend, and modeled something.

Some knew the impact they had. Some didn’t. This project exists to name those influences.

To give them their flowers. And to understand more clearly how we were formed because of them.
